Recently, the Party-Mass Service Center, the New Era Civilization Practice Station and the Care for the Next Generation Working Committee of Qingzhi Industrial Community organized the students of the community holiday school to visit Ningbo Juxin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and carried out an industrial research and study activity that integrated observation, learning and interaction. The event kicked off with a vivid environmental protection science popularization video. The shocking scenes allow children to directly feel the serious threat of plastic pollution to the ecological environment. When the camera turns to the various recycled products born after recycling and processing, the positive achievements of technology empowering environmental protection once again catch everyone's attention, triggering a strong interest and in-depth thinking about "turning waste into treasure".
Under the guidance of the enterprise staff, the children systematically learned about the types and characteristics of common plastics - from PET mineral water bottles, PE plastic bags, to PP lunch boxes, and then to the colorful plastic microbeads. The staff members elaborated in detail on the recycling labels, classification methods and processing techniques of different plastics, emphasizing that "correct classification is the first step in resource regeneration." By introducing Juxin Environmental Protection's advanced recycling technology, the children learned that waste plastics can not only be efficiently recycled but also transformed into high-value-added recycled materials, truly realizing the circular economy model of "reducing pollution, lowering carbon emissions and increasing efficiency". In the recycled products exhibition area, eco-friendly tables and chairs, stationery, fabrics and other products made from recycled plastics have overturned children's perception of "recycled products". Subsequently, a highly engaging environmental knowledge quiz brought the atmosphere to a climax. Centering on themes such as garbage classification, resource recycling, and ecological protection, the children actively competed to answer questions.
