On the morning of November 27th, Deputy Director Wang Jing of the Marine Department of the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and her team visited our company for research.

In October 2023, the "Blue Cycle" model stood out among over 2,500 projects worldwide and won the United Nations' "Champions of the Earth Award", contributing an astonishing "Chinese solution" to global Marine pollution control. At present, the "Blue Cycle" model for Marine plastic waste management is being rapidly promoted within Zhejiang Province. In July 2024, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment issued the "Implementation Plan for Further Replicating and Promoting the 'Blue Cycle' Experience and Strengthening the Management of Marine Plastic Waste", requiring full coverage of the "Blue Cycle" in all coastal counties (cities and districts). In June 2024, the ecological and environmental departments of Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai in the Yangtze River Delta jointly signed a memorandum of cooperation. The three provinces and municipalities will establish a cross-regional cooperation mechanism and a long-term mechanism for Marine debris clearance to jointly protect the environment of the East China Sea. Deputy Director Wang Jing and her team's visit to Ningbo for research this time is also aimed at facilitating the implementation of the "Blue Cycle" 2.0 in Ningbo. The iterative upgrade of Blue Cycle 2.0 mainly addresses the system from Marine ecological protection to the transformation of ecological value, and finally the benefits are fed back to society, forming a full chain of governance, protection and development. More waste plastic recycling enterprises can get involved to find more solutions for turning Marine debris into treasure.
